On April 27, the Minnesota Polish Medical Society collaborated with the Czech and Slovak Cultural Center of Minnesota, the Czech and Slovak School Twin Cities, and the Czech and Slovak Sokol Minnesota to host an exclusive literary event featuring Mariusz Szczygieł, an esteemed Polish journalist and author. The gathering included a presentation by Szczygieł titled "Czech Culture: My Láska nebeská." Approximately 70 enthusiasts of Szczygieł's work and those interested in cross-cultural perspectives and literary journalism attended the event. The evening concluded with a book signing session.
