Devastating Floods in Poland

Last weekend, the worst fears of meteorologists became reality as a massive flood wave hit southern Poland, devastating Lower Silesia. Towns were left underwater, with entire neighborhoods submerged and dams overwhelmed. Emergency services continue to battle the flood and its aftermath.

Many cities were destroyed, and the toll has been tragic—including lives lost and thousands displaced, losing their homes and possessions. For a video showing the destruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijV6HGjjhqk

In response, major humanitarian organizations and local initiatives have launched efforts to collect donations and supplies for flood victims.

If you like to join the relief effort and donate, please ensure that any funds you donate go to verified organizations like the Polish Red Cross, Caritas Polska, or Siepomaga to support the rebuilding efforts. (Links below.)

Another reputable charitable organization is Caritas Poland: https://caritas.pl/

Or Siepomaga Foundation: https://www.siepomaga.pl/powodzie

Together, we can make a difference.
