On June 15, 2019, PAMSM (Polish American Medical Society of Minnesota) celebrated the bond between Poland and France with a special event. The occasion marked the opening night of an exhibition featuring the impressionist paintings of Antoni Beltowski at Alliance Française Mpls/St. Paul. Despite the stormy weather, around forty people attended the reception, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The paintings on display captured the beauty of the Twin Cities parks and skyline throughout the seasons, with their vibrant colors standing out against the cloudy backdrop.
To enhance the French ambiance, traditional French music played in the background, while guests enjoyed wines and cheeses from France. The event also included delicious treats from the local Sikora's Polish Market and Deli, adding a delightful fusion of Polish and French flavors.
Antoni Beltowski, drawing inspiration from renowned French impressionists such as Monet, showcased his own unique style and interpretation through his artwork. The photos captured during the opening reception provide a glimpse into the event's vibrant atmosphere and offer a closer look at Beltowski's captivating paintings.
Overall, the celebration of Polish-French friendship through art, music, and culinary delights created a memorable and enriching experience for all who attended the exhibition.
The exhibit was open June 15-30, 2019.
